The Everyday Parent Coach
Parenting starts with you.
Understanding yourself is one of the most meaningful steps towards understanding your child.
I support parents to make sense of their emotions, understand their patterns and reconnect with themselves, so they can approach everyday parenting with greater awareness, confidence and compassion.
My approach explores four connected areas:
01 · BODY
Physical health
My Nervous System Balance
Can you stay calm and grounded through the noise, demands and unpredictability of parenting, or do you often feel tense, overwhelmed or on edge?
My Movement & Breath
Are you making time for movement, rest and healthy breathing, or has looking after yourself become another thing on your never-ending list?
02 · MIND
Mental health
My Awareness
Can you be present with your children and yourself, or is your mind constantly racing through everything that needs doing?
My Self-Talk
When parenting feels difficult, can you speak to yourself with kindness, or do guilt, judgement and thoughts about what you should be doing take over?
03 · HEART
Emotional health
My Personal Battery
Do you have enough energy left for your children, relationships and yourself, or are you giving so much to everyone else that you're running on empty?
My Real Drive & Motivation
Do you still have energy and enthusiasm for the things that matter to you, or are you simply pushing through the daily demands and responsibilities?
04 · DIRECTION
Purpose & identity
Knowing Who I Am
Do you still feel connected to who you are beyond being a parent, partner or caregiver, or have you lost sight of the person behind all those roles?
Living True to Myself
Is there room in family life for your needs, interests and ambitions, too, or do you find yourself putting everyone else first?
Have you ever reacted to your child in a way you didn't expect? Found yourself feeling overwhelmed, frustrated or guilty afterwards?
You are not alone. Parenting can bring our own experiences, emotions and patterns to the surface.
Rather than judging yourself for these moments, we can get curious about them. When you begin to understand why you react the way you do, you create space for more conscious choices, greater self-compassion and a stronger connection with your child.
You don’t have to be a perfect parent. When you understand your own capacity, you can show up, connect deeply, and co-regulate with your child with confidence.

What could change?
As you begin to understand yourself, you can start to:
Feel more grounded – navigate the noise, demands and unpredictability of parenting with greater calm.
Be more present – step out of the constant mental to-do list and enjoy more moments with your children.
Respond with understanding – recognise your triggers and make more conscious choices instead of reacting automatically.
Look after your own needs – have more energy for yourself, your children and the people you love.
Reconnect with yourself – remember who you are beyond your many roles and make space for what matters to you.
Co-regulate with your child – use your own growing awareness and calm presence to help your child feel safe, navigate big emotions and find their own calm.
Build stronger connections – create a deeper connection with your child and a more connected family life.
It's not about becoming a perfect parent. It's about building the emotional capacity to show up for yourself and your family, even when life gets messy.

Resources
A little space for you.
Parenting can be demanding, and it is easy to put yourself last. But understanding yourself is an important part of understanding and connecting with your child.
I have created two free resources to help you pause, reflect and explore what you might need.
Parent questionnaire
Take a moment to reflect on how you are feeling, what's working, what feels challenging and where you would like support.

Understanding the Parent Behind the Parenting
The Everyday Parent Guide · Part 1
Before we can better understand our children, it helps to understand ourselves.
This free guide is the first in a series created to help you explore the person behind the parenting — your experiences, emotions, patterns and needs.
A little time for you to pause, reflect and begin understanding yourself a little more.
*This is Part 1 of The Everyday Parent Guide series. Further guides will come out over time.
